Individual Volunteers

It is through the generous donation of your time and talent that we are able to build safe, decent, and affordable homes for hard-working, qualified families throughout southeastern Massachusetts. Experience is not required. Our construction team is ready to teach you all you need to know!

Hours:

Build Days are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. We ask that all volunteers be present at 8:30 sharp for orientation and safety training.

Minimum Age on Build Sites:

The minimum age to volunteer is 18, however we value and welcome the efforts of volunteers between the ages of 16 and 17 and will work with organized school groups. Please note that there are limits on the type of construction work they can perform; special volunteer opportunities for minors will be scheduled when specific tasks are needed that meet Habitat for Humanity policy standard. All minors must be accompanied by a 21+ chaperone.

Other Opportunities:

Individual build days are open to all individual and groups with no charge, subject to registration availability. If your group is interested in an elevated experience, we encourage you to explore sponsored Corporate and Group Build Days.

Scheduling
Site locations and build dates vary depending on the current projects. Please review the calendar below or contact our Volunteer Coordinator for more information:
