871 Plymouth St., Abington

South Shore Habitat is pleased to have partnered with the town of Abington to renovate an affordable single family, cape-style home on Plymouth St. in Abington. This will be a 1,152 sq. ft., three bedroom, two bathroom home with a finished 245 sq. ft. basement. We anticipate completion of this project in Summer 2026.


Welcome to Abington!

Paul and Amelia are excited to join the South Shore Habitat Family Partnership program, having been selected for the property at 871 Plymouth Street, in Abington, MA. Amelia is Center Director for a private school that specializes in special education; Paul is a caregiver for their two young daughters.


High cost of rent, condition and health issues with current housing, and concerns with landlord-tenant relationships all contributed to their desire to join the Habitat family. They look forward to their “forever home” in Abington.
