Ride for Habitat

"A New Way to Build Homes on the South Shore - Ride Your Bike!"

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

The 4th Annual Ride for Habitat started and finished at Wompatuck State Park on Saturday, June 19, 2010.  The bike ride consisted of two riding circuits, a 50 mile loop for the more adventurous beginning at 7:30am, and the 25 mile loop begins at 9:00 am!  Both rides start at the Welcome Center in Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, winding through surrounding towns. Registration is $25.  If you are still interested in participating in the Ride for Habitat, download the registration form and bring the form and the $25.00 registration fee with you the day of the Ride.  We would love to have you come by the park on Saturday morning and join the festivities!

This year, riders will be able to raise money for local Habitat builds in Brockton, Hanover, Hingham, Marshfield, Stoughton and the Tri-Valley (Medfield, Millis & Medway).

South Shore Habtiat for Humanity is proud to present Friends of Harvey, to play for the Ride for Habitat. They will be set up near the Welcome Center in Wompatuck State Park. Friends of Harvey is an amalgam of musical genres covering 30's blues, 70's funk, 80's new wave and 21st century rock n roll (if such a thing still exists). Our musical cornucopia feeds the aural cravings of any listener. From Queen to Run DMC, The Grateful Dead to lesser knowns like Deep Banana Blackout and Pavement, Friends of Harvey covers all the musical bases.
