This house was designed by CBT Architects of Boston who also donated $50,000 toward the construction costs as their way of celebrating as a company 40 years of success.

The 15th Annual Birdhouse Show, 2008
The sale of beautiful bird houses serve as a wonderful metaphor to raise funds and awareness of the need for homes for those in need as South Shore Habitat for Humanity celibrates it's 15th Annual Bird House Show at South Shore Plaza in Braintree MA. This is a 3-day event at the end of April each year and has become a great way to obtain unique and one-of-a-kind Mother's Day, end of year Teacher Appreciation and even Father's Day gift's that go to help others through the purchase.

Whitman Dedication
A video webcast reported by G.P. Brefini on the November 4, 2007 dedication of the home built by South Shore Habitat for Humanity for their Family Partners, John and Nicole and family! It's extra special because Thanksgiving 2007 was just a few days away from the dedication. John and Nicole are South Shore Habitat for Humanity's 43rd Family Partner in the affiliates' 21+ year history. This home was made possible by a substantial donation by The Andersen Window Company.

Roxbury Latin School Teams With South Shore Habitat for Humanity
In the summer of 2007, volunteers from The Roxbury Latin School Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter traveled to Scituate, MA to build a home with South Shore Habitat for Humanity. This footage is from their first two builds at the site, on July 28 and August 4, 2007.

This is one of our premier fund raising events. This annual 3 day event at South Shore Plaza in Braintree MA. was kicked off for us by Mr. Jordan Rich, talk show host of the "Jordan Rich Show" heard nightly on WBZ AM 1030 in Boston.

7th Annual Folk Festival to benefit South Shore Habitat for Humanity
Held April 22, 2007 at the Mozaic Room Coffeehouse at the Avon Baptist Church, Avon, Mass., this event featured artists from across the region who donated their time and talent to raising money for Habitat.
