Stoughton

 Are you ready to rock?!  Join the the South Shore Habitat for Humanity Stoughton Local Partnership Committee as they host a 'Battle of the Bands' on Friday May 7th, 2010 at the Stoughton High School Auditorium!  The event, called ‘Stoughton Rocks for Habitat for Humanity’, is open to all middle and high school students from any school.  Band ’24 South’ will be rocking as they showcase their music as the house band for this event! 

 Grand prize includes: 4 hours of recording time at Stoughton's own Solstice Studios, owned by Ed Basile.  Also, professional engineering of 1 song at Solstice Studios for the winning band by Rich Spillberg, member of Stoughton High School Class of 1984 and former member of band, WARGASM!

  Interested in participating in the 'Battle of the Bands'?!  Applications will be posted at Stoughton High and surrounding schools or contact Shawn Croke or call Shawn at 781-341-0818.  All bands must submit a demo CD, which will then be judged by a panel of judges who will select the 5 bands that will play live at the event! 

  This will be a great night of music for a great cause. The South Shore Habitat for Humanity house is almost complete, help raise money to get the family living in it this Spring!
