Your Build Day

• 8 to 10 employees work together to build a Habitat home.
• Typically scheduled for Wednesday, though other weekdays may be available.
• The day begins on-site at 8:00 AM and lasts until 3:30 PM with a lunch break around noon.
• Depending on the stage of construction, employees spend the day framing, roofing, installing doors/windows, painting,etc.
• Refreshments for the mid-morning coffee break are provided.
• Lunch for participants and 5 South Shore Habitat crew is provided.
• Employees must provide their own transportation to and from the worksite.
• Your company makes a suggested contribution of $3,000 to South Shore Habitat.
